    Fixed

    • Closing an enlarged image no longer quits the app. The image viewer on a post page
      is driven by the URL, not by a state flag, so our Android back handler could not see it
      as an open overlay: a back press fell through to "nothing left to go back to" and closed
      Phandroid. The close button had the same root cause — it closed by stepping back in
      history, and in the app's WebView there is not always an entry to step back to, so it
      appeared dead. Both now close the viewer by dropping its URL parameters, which does not
      depend on the history stack. Reported for the catch-up view; it affected every post.

    Added

    • GIF picker. The setting was missing compared to phanpy.social. It is not a defect:
      upstream gates the whole feature on a GIPHY API key supplied at build time, and the key
      lives in the deployment, not in the source — so every self-built Phanpy, Phandroid
      included, hid the setting. Phandroid now ships its own key, so Settings > Composer >
      GIF picker       appears and works.
      Note that the key is readable inside the APK, exactly as it is in phanpy.social's
      bundle, and that search terms are sent to GIPHY.

    Fixed

    • Exporting accounts works again. The export built the file as a Blob and clicked an
      <a download>, which silently does nothing in the Android WebView (no DownloadListener,
      and Android's DownloadManager rejects blob: URLs) — the export appeared to do nothing at
      all. It now writes the file and hands it to the system share sheet, so you can save it to
      Files, a cloud app or send it wherever you like. Importing was never affected.

    Fixed

    • Themed icons (Android 13+) now work. The app ships a <monochrome> layer, so
      launchers with themed/monochrome icons tint it like every other app instead of
      falling back to the full-colour icon. The eyes are cut out of the silhouette so
      they stay readable once the system tints it.
    • The app now ships a proper icon in the F-Droid repository (F-Droid cannot
      rasterise the adaptive XML launcher icon, so it showed a placeholder before).
